Pulse Fitness Studio

PULSE Fitness Studio is one of Malta's leading health and fitness centres on the island, and is located at the award winning Athenaeum Spa in Malta. The ‘Pulse' at this fitness studio lies in the beating heart of a busy, safe studio, where fitness is fun and a social opportunity for everyone.

We all know that there are no quick fixes, but, starting a fitness program doesn't have to be overwhelming when you are armed with the proper tools to get things rolling. At PULSE fitness studio at the Athenaeum Spa in Malta is there help and encouragement from our fully qualified staff, everyone can reach his or her fitness goals within a reasonable time.

Once you have committed to getting into shape, the PULSE fitness team work together with each client to ensure they will exceed their short term and long term fitness goals. Upon enrollment at PULSE, a one to one appointment is made with one of the instructors from the PULSE team for a gym induction and a personalised training gym program to follow. A body scan may also be performed, if the client wishes in order to see their current weight, body fat percentage and muscle mass. Together each of the client's fitness goals is written down and set, thus creating a short and long term plan. Any injuries or contraindications are taken into matter if need. The client's current fitness level is taken into consideration so whether a beginner or a regular gym junkie, the PULSE team know how to maximise your workout and keep you on your toes. Keeping in mind that if you do the same exercise day after day, you'll quickly tire with boredom and may hit a plataeu. Diversity in each client's routine is kept at PULSE, as a program and body scan review is taken place every 6 weeks. Starting slow, focusing on one goal at a time, is the beginning to a sure, safe and healthy approach when it comes to fitness training. The PULSE team is always around to offer help and they work on many occasions, one on one with Athenaeum Spa's members, focusing and concentrating on precision, control and breathing. Personal Training with any one of our staff is also available.

PULSE fitness studio is made up of a full size cardio area, a resistance area with more than 20 pieces of equipment, and the island's first and only commercial Kinesis studio within the gym. Kinesis alows for 360-degree, three dimensional, resistance-based multi plane motion. Kinesis adapts to the user's body instead of the other way round.

The Pulse fitness studio at the Athenaeum Spa in Malta offers panoramic views over the Corinthia Palace's lunch private gardens. Being part of the Athenaeum Spa's setup also means that PULSE members can also enjoy the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna and steam room gardens.
