Athenaeum Rules & Regulations

For the benefit of all our members we would like you to read through these rules and ask you to always abide by them so your stay at the Spa will be an enjoyable one for you and the other members. Updates to these rules will be issued from time to time.

1. Persons eligible for Membership must be above the age of 18. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Athenaeum.

2. The management reserves the right to alter the above fees, following prior notification. No Memberships will be refunded.

3. Members are expected to always be in proper attire around the Spa premises, including proper sportswear in the fitness room and robes / towelling / bathing suits in the sauna garden. You are kindly request to use overshoes when entering the Spa, unless clean and appropriate footwear is brought from home.

4. The Spa is a centre of relaxation for members and visitors thus noise and loud talking  will not be tolerated. Respect should be shown to other members, residents and to the staff irrespective of their social, religious or political leanings.

5. The property of others is to be respected. This includes keeping the environment clean and the proper use of furniture and equipment.

6. Mobile phones are to be kept on silent or switched off and always left in the locker. Anyone with a mobile phone in the Spa will be asked by the staff to put it away.

7. The tables situated at the bar area are strictly for members wishing to order lunch. Food should only be consumed in this area. Glass bottles and chewing gum are prohibited at the Spa. Only food and drink purchased from the Athenaeum can be consumed on the premises.

8. The Spa is a non-smoking centre and thus all members are asked to refrain from smoking on the premises.

9. There will be a Lm5 charge for lost keys.

10. Anyone caught breaking any of these rules will be spoken to by the staff. Repeat offences will not be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly. The Management reserves the right to withdraw the membership of anyone who repeatedly breaks these rules. Claiming that one has no knowledge of these rules will not be accepted.
